Beauty and geology in perfect harmony

The Gruta de las Maravillas was formed by the erosive-dissolving action of water on the marble rocks of the Cerro del Castillo. This phreatic cavity presents a horizontal development with three superimposed levels of galleries, which allows a detailed and diverse exploration of the subterranean landscape. The constant temperature of between 16 and 19 degrees Celsius and the high relative humidity, which varies between 98% and almost 100%, create a favourable environment for the preservation of these natural formations.
