As it’s being said, who comes once, comes twice. That’s what they say about the island; and we’re not surprised! Discover all the things to do in Mallorca:
In our last post we mentioned that there is a wide variety of things to do in Mallorca that would, for sure, give you so much fun. Just imagine: there’re so many things that we’ve to divide it according to the different areas!
– The north of Mallorca:
The northern part of the island is characterized by its craggy mountain chain, typical white small houses along the coast and its mountains, fully alive. Some towns belong to the Serra de Tramuntana, declared World Heritage in 2011 by UNESCO. Thanks to its unique geographic location, the dry stone wall construction and the fantastic paths that are found in magical villages, make the north a perfect day dream location.
– The South of Mallorca:
The south is characterized by its small and warm beaches that invite us to stop there. The soft and white sand along crystallized water, will make your holidays everyone’s envy. Besides, in the south of Mallorca you’ll find wonders such as: Coves del Drach (amazing caves), Mondrago’s Natural Park or the virgin still beach Es Trenc.
– The east of Mallorca:
Arta and Manacor are just a few examples of the different historical villages on Majorca’s east coast. Towns are still rural, ideal for those who love to mix with the local people and to get to know their culture and traditions.
If you are looking for real virgin and not much crowded beach, then you should take a trip to Son Real near Son Serra de Marina, where you’ll also find a very well preserved necropolis.
– The Southwest of Mallorca:
In the southwest of Mallorca there are small exclusive harbours such as Andratx harbour, Puerto Portals or Port Adriano. You’ll also be able to visit Palma, the Balearic capital, or small idyllic mountain villages like Puigpunyent.
Do not miss a visit to the Castell de Bellver or the Castell de Bendinat, a real must-visit due to its fantastic views and the cultural interest, as well as Potals Nous, a small beautiful bay.
– The center of Mallorca:
The island’s interior is pure tradition. Widespread fields, old flour mills and, above all, a very history-focused culture. If you are looking for the most authentic side of the island, then you’ll be in the right place. In small villages such as Binissalem, Santa Maria or Petra there are still some old-fashioned wine cellars where you’ll be able to do wine-tastings. We can ensure you that tasting those wines is tasting the Mediterranean itself.
Don’t miss your change to check all these things to do in Mallorca. You’ll trully love them!
