Portixol is an old fishermen town really close from Palma. It’s located just a few minutes away from the Cathedral (you can even go walking there in 10 minutes), and it’s also one of the most popular places in Mallorca right now.

All over the promenade you’ll see from fishermen to locals and visitors that love spending the evenings walking through it. There are also many cyclists and skaters that love wandering around there too, so if you’re a wheels lover, it’s going to be perfect for you!

This place is perfect to relax and enjoy a nice food thanks to its proximity with the sea and and the decens of restaurants that there’re all over the promenade.

It also has a small and lovely cove with really clear water that’s one of the most frequented places on the Eve of Sant Joan (June 23rd). If you go, you’ll be able to see it filled with candles and people celebrating the summer solstice.
