Lovely marine-styled house for 5 persons, at 60m from the sea in Alcanada. It has a spatious terrace with seaview, a barbecue and a swing for the kids.
This coquette sailor-styled house is surrounded by stepped terraces, where adults and children will enjoy the spacious outside areas with stunning views on the bay of Alcúdia. From the moment we walk up to the house, the sailor spirit envolves us, with meticulously placed decorative details (an old fishing boat, the blue shutters and pots, the life ring and the oar hanging from the wall), which invite us to enter the house and find out what more it has in store for us. There are several terraces, providing us with diferent relaxing areas: read a good book in the sun on the lower terrace, pick some oranges or lemons from the fruit trees for a delicious glass of fresh juice, the children playing with the swings behind the house or a delightful family dinner on the huge terrace in front of the living room, enjoying the sea view. There is an exterior shower, to freshen up or to wash off the salt and sand after a plunge in the sea. There are neighbours on both sides.

Even the luminous living- and dining room opens doors to the renewing sea breeze. There, you will find a sofa, a fire place, TV, CD-player, a dining table and air conditioning, to have an afternoon nap or listen to some music. Either from the living or from the terrace, you enter the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a gas oven and stove top and every other utensil you might need to prepare a great meal, while enjoying the sea view through the open windows.

From the living area, we also have access to the three bedrooms. The main bedroom counts with a double bed and a ceiling fan, the second bedroom has two individual beds and the third bedroom one individual bed (1,80m). All bedrooms have a wardrobe. There is one bathroom with a shower, for common use. On request, we can prepare a baby bed, a high chair and an electric heater, without any additional cost. In the laundry room, next to the kitchen, you will dispose of a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board.

Alcanada is a relatively quiet residential area. At either side, in front of the house, you can access the rocky seaside, for a morning plunge. 200m further op the road, there is a cosy, little cove: Cala Poncet, a bouldery shore with just a little bit of sand. The beach of Alcanada is just 1,2km away. On Sundays, it fills up with locals, having family meals in the shade of the pine trees. In Alcanada, there is a small grocery shop, for basic necessities. Port d'Alcúdia is 3,5km away, and there you will find a bigger supermarket, as well as shops, restaurants and any other service you might need during your stay. Enjoy the tranquility of the area and the closeness of the sea in Alcanada, and, at the same time, having all the advantages of the touristic area of Port d'Alcúdia.

The aquatic Hidropark will provide a full day of fun for the kids, while there are plenty of activities for the adults in the area, like parasailing, surf, golf or horseriding. The beach of Port d'Alcúdia is perfect for families with little children, as the beach steeps slowly into the sea. It reaches practically all the way to Can Picafort.
