We had a great stay at Villa Ancorra. We easily found room for 6 adults and 2 children in the huge house. The location is wonderful and the direct access to the lovely beach couldn't be better. Our children loved the big walled garden full of old trees and palms. The house is clean and has large spacious rooms well fitted for a large group or a family holiday. We used the external stairs since the large spiral stair in the hall is not well suited for small children. The kitchen and bathrooms are a little run down, but all things considered the house is great value and the location is amazing. The host was easy to contact and came by within 3 hours when the lock on the front gate broke. We definitely consider coming back.

Welcome to this wonderful villa with private access to the sea in Playas de Muro. It is prepared for 10 persons + 2 extra.
The fabulous outdoor area counts with a huge green area with trees. Breathe the mediterranean athmosphere, relaxing on one of the 6 sun loungers. There is a 20m2 porch with a table and 4 chairs, as well as an 80m2 fully-furnished porch with a large table with enough chairs to enjoy long evenings with friends and family. At th 1st floor, you will find a big, unfurnished terrace with stairs leading down to the garden.
The 500m2 2-storey house counts with 5 bedrooms, all on the first floor: 4 with a double bed (one of them with an en-suite bath room with a bath tub) and 1 with two individual beds. All bedrooms count with a wardrobe. There is a possibility for 2 extra persons to sleep on two individual folding beds. On request, there are two baby beds and a highchair available. There are three bathrooms for general use: 1 on the ground floor with a shower and 2 on the 1st floor (1 with a bath tub and 1 guest room).
The entrance of the house is spectacular: a huge hall with a wide marble staircase and decorated with beautiful green plants. On the ground floor, you will find the spatious living- and dining room, with it's huge dining table and enough chairs for the whole family. The living room counts with sofas and arm chairs, as well as a television. On the 1st floor, there is another furnished living room. The independent kitchen works with gas and counts with all necessary utensils to prepare a perfect family dinner. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board.
A small path leads from the house to the beach. The fine, white sandy beach of Alcúdia covers quite a few kilometres, all the way from the harbour of Alcúdia to Can Picafort. Nearby, you will find the beach of Playa dels Capellans, where you can enjoy a paella or a cocktail in any of the well-known beach bars, while watching the sundawn. Nearby, you will find some interesting places to visit, as, for example, the Albufera wetland, Pollença with it's cozy town square and the Calvari stairs, and small, quiet seaside villages as Colònia the Sant Pere. Don't forget to visit Alcúdia's old town, with it's cobbled streets, the church and the ruins of the old roman city and amphitheater. Tuesdays and Sundays there is a market in Alcudia and the village transforms into a bustling and vibrant place.

6 guests reviewed this property. This is a huge property, almost a quarter acre plot and the beach is access via 20 metre long private path directly from the garden. Nice location, in a residential area but only 10 mins walk from the start of the 'strip' with all the restaurants and bars. The garden is well kept, and there is a covered outdoor area for al fresco dining/entertaining.Fantastic location, huge house! We have a very comfortable stay, thank you

This house has many positives. Large house, great garden, private 20 meter path to the beach (which is child friendly), safe area, garage, relatively low rent and so on. So what is the catch? Unfortunately the house has not been maintained sufficiently during the last years. The kitchen is quite basic, there is a significant ant colony sharing the house with you, and the mosquitos are very present at night. But if you keep the house clean (never leave any food out), ensure to have loads of insect repellant ready available and use the fans at night, the positives can outweigh the negatives and give you a great holiday. The house easily sleeps 10-12 people and the owners are friendly and helpful.
See more Wir haben in dem Haus einen wunderschönen Familien-Urlaub verbracht. Es bietet für 8 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder mehr als genug Platz und ist fantastisch gelegen. Die Fotos sagen alles :) Der private Zugang zum Strand ist einmalig! Leider ist die Einrichtung in den Badezimmern veraltet und z. B. in den Duschen teilweise kaputt. Trotzdem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind von dem netten Damen Team herzlich empfangen worden. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen.
