This cozy house near the centre of Puerto de Alcúdia and the beach offers a perfect second home for 5 people.
Enjoy a large breakfast at the terrace, which has a table with chairs for 6 persons. The little garden area offers two sun loungers, perfect to read something interesting or basking in the sun, although you will probably feel like going to the beach which is just 130 metres away, and enjoy the sun and the sea breeze.
The two storey chalet with a size of 90 m2 is ideal for families and small groups of friends. In the living room, with a large sofa, you will pass a pleasant time reading a good book, watching TV (satellite TV) or taking a nap. The dining area can accommodate up to 6 people. The independent kitchen offers you everything you will need for your holidays: microwave, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, food blender, electric oven, vitro ceramic hob and a fridge with freezer. Of course there is also a washing machine, iron and ironing board. A toilet completes the ground floor. Going upstairs you find the three bedrooms. One of the bedrooms counts with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with hydro-massage tub, the second one has two twin beds and the last one has a single bed. Another shower bathroom completes this floor. The whole accommodation counts with heat - cold air conditioning and there are units in every bedroom and in the living area.
The whole plot (with the house) measures about 115 m2. There is parking space on the plot for up to 2 cars. Furthermore, you could park in front of the property on the street free of charge. The house is located in a small urbanisation and there are direct neighbours. The location of the chalet is perfect because you reach all the installations you may need in a few minutes walking or driving by car or bus. Close to the chalet you will find a supermarket, restaurants, and the bus station. The bus goes every 15 minutes to Alcúdia harbor, Alcúdia old town, Puerto de Pollença or other directions like Can Picafort. Enjoy a relaxing beach day, bask in the sun and take a refreshing bath in the sea; or go for a pleasant stroll along the beach. You reach the fine grained sand beach with its crystal clear water in only 100 meters.
In Puerto de Alcúdia you will find lots of restaurants for every kind of taste; fresh fish, excellent meat, pizza and pasta, sushi, tapas, degustation menus and typical Majorcan cuisine. If you feel a bit hungry, the numerous snack bars offer sandwiches, hamburgers and salads. For your coffee or tea break you will find lots of cafeterias on the promenade. There are also lots of shops there; beside shops for clothes, shoes and souvenirs you will easily find small supermarkets for grocery shopping.
The old town of Alcúdia with its little cobbled streets is a must see. Visit the old squares, the church and the town walls where you can also walk around the top of the old town. Lots of small bars and good restaurants invite you to stop off for a coffee or a snack and take it all in. On Tuesday and Sunday there is market day in Alcúdia and the town turns into a busy place with lots of people. Don’t forget to visit the Roman Ruins including a villa, a bull-ring and an amphitheatre.
By car or bus you could easily reach other nice beach areas like Playa de Muro, Can Picafort, Playa de Formentor or Puerto de Pollença. Also the bay Cala St. Vicente is a must to see. A visit of the old town of Pollença with its tiny church (Calvari) and the nice main square with lots of restaurants would be a nice half-day trip. To access the Calvari, you would have to climb more than hundred stairs - but the views are worth it!

13 guests reviewed this property. Muy buena estadia en Alcudia, para las familias con niños es ideal, la playa esta a un lado (En caso que se necesite volver a la casa por algun improvisto). La casa es muy comoda, amplia y muy bien equipada, ademas cuenta con una ducha exterior perfecta para limpiar la arena antes de entrar a las habitaciones. Muy cómoda y acogedora estadía en Alcudia .
Very good stay in Alcudia, for families with children it is ideal, the beach is on one side (in case you need to return home for something unexpected). The house is very comfortable, spacious and very well equipped, it also has an outdoor shower perfect for cleaning the sand before entering the rooms. Very comfortable and cozy stay in Alcudia.
See more Das Haus war sauber und grundsätzlich gut ausgestattet. Es gibt gute elektrische Geräte. Die Betten sind bequem. Das Internet funktioniert sehr gut (zum arbeiten geeignet). Es gab eine Grundausstattung mit Spülmittel, Spülmaschinentabs, Waschmittel (möglicherweise von den Vormietern). Die Lage ist perfekt, um mit dem Rennrad zu starten, zu joggen oder einfach an den Strand zu gehen.
The house was clean and generally well equipped. There are good electrical devices. The beds are comfortable. The internet works very well (suitable for working). There was a basic supply of dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent (possibly from the previous tenants). The location is perfect for racing bikes, jogging or simply going to the beach.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche im Ferienhaus. Das Haus war sehr sauber und voll ausgestattet. Schlüsselübergabe war reibungslos. Die Lage zum Strand war auch sehr gut. Durch die Hauptstraße hat man allerdings immer eine Geräuschkulisse. Die Außendusche (mit Warmwasser) war sehr praktisch, um den Sand vom Strand gleich draußen loszuwerden. Wasserdruck und Wärme des Wassers waren auch perfekt. Wir haben sie zwar nicht gebraucht, aber jeder Raum hatte eine eigene regelbare Klimaanlage. Das Haus können wir nur weiterempfehlen.

However, there is always a background noise from the main street. The outdoor shower (with hot water) was very handy for getting rid of the sand from the beach just outside. Water pressure and heat of the water were also perfect. We didn't need them, but each room had its own adjustable air conditioning system. We can only recommend the house.

Fenster hatten wir deswegen nachts geschlossen, auch wegen der vielen Stechmücken (wurden total zerstochen) / 3 Pfannen, eine total zerkratzt, in der Zweiten wurde das Fleisch nicht braun, ging nur die Mini-Pfanne, wodurch es dann etwas länger dauerte.Wir waren sehr zufrieden und bedanken uns bei den netten, hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern von Villafinca. Bieten auch Shuttle-Service an, den wir nicht nutzen, da wir leider erst eine Woche vor Anreise davon erfahren haben.
Positive: everything as in the pictures and described / 1-2 minutes to the beach / lockable outdoor shower / kitchen well equipped with mini filter coffee machine / bed guard / outdoor box with beach toys, parasol and chair (from previous guests) / to Spar and Eroski approx. 5-10 minutes Neutral: House is on a busy street. That's why we closed the windows at night, also because of the many mosquitoes (they were totally bitten) / 3 pans, one totally scratched, the meat in the second didn't brown, only the mini pan worked, which meant it took a little longer. We were very satisfied and would like to thank the nice, helpful staff at Villafinca. They also offer a shuttle service, which we don't use because we unfortunately only found out about it a week before arrival.
