Close to the mountains of Benicadell, this villa with private pool is located in Otos and welcomes 8 people.
The private, 6.5 m x 3.5 m chlorine pool with a depth ranging from 0.6 m to 1.3 m is surrounded by a garden with seven sun loungers, an exterior shower and lots of enchanting corners to read, relax or spend time with your family. The porch is a nice spot for having a BBQ and if you prefer to eat under the starry sky, there is a furnished terrace. The kids will not only enjoy swimming in the pool, but also playing on the playground. This wonderful, two-storey villa is independent, is located in the outskirts and there are a few neighbours.
The bright sitting-dining room is perfect for a little siesta, watch a film on the satellite-TV, listen to music, watch a DVD with your children or read a book by the fireplace. The independent kitchen offers everything you may need for cooking, including a gas hob, washer, iron and ironing board.
Two bedrooms with double bed each and two bedrooms with two twin beds each, three on the first floor and one on the ground floor, are equipped with wardrobes. Two bedrooms on the first floor have access to a terrace, ideal for a glass of wine in the evening. There is a bath with bath tub and bidet on each storey, one of them with a big, round bath tub where you will be able to relax. We can supply a cot and a high chair. This house caters for both season, summer and winter, as it offers seven electric radiators and two fans.
Otos forms part of the Vall d'Albaida region and it's close to the Benicadell mountains, where you can hike and cycle. This nice villa is set elevated and offers stunning views over the olive groves and fields. Otos is famous because of its sundial-trail, with more than 30 sundials in the centre. Furthermore, you can visit the nice Palace and the exhibition of the popular artist Antoni Miró. You can join guided tours through the Palace and on Sundays takes place the famous cultural tour, where you'll learn more about culture and gastronomy. By car you can go to Playa de Gandia, a fine grained, long sand beach.

3 guests reviewed this property. Flies! There were a LOT of flies. I think this is due to the fact that the villa is located amongst an olive tree plantation, and very close to some orange groves. Mosquitoes come out at about 7pm so take plenty of spray if you intend to stay outside. Oh - and the spiders are pretty huge too!! We found one in the pool that was approx 2 inches across although apparently harmless. (I thought it was dead so left it on the wall only to watch it scamper off when it dried out!!) The beds, although comfy were pretty squeaky and if you have a habit of moving in the night you may wake anyone within a 20m radius. Be careful on the villa steps. They're quite uneven, and my wife did have a fall and we ended up in hospital getting her checked out the next day. Christina & Raoul were very helpful and booked us tables at restaurants and gave us ideas for days out (all via whatsapp). The village of Otos is ridiculously quiet and peaceful. During the day you'd be hard pressed to find another human being out and about lol. The villa is amazing. Large, spacious, with everything a family could need. The pool is lovely although a little smaller than anticipated. Lovely temperature too. Beautiful garden. Easy access (by car) to Valencia (45mins), Alicante (50 mins) Gandia (20 mins).
See more We stayed for a month to do some walking in the Costa Brava Mountains. The house is extremely comfortable, even in winter. Cristina and Raul could not have been more helpful, providing a constant supply of wood and oranges. The house is on the edge of the village which has a butcher, bakers, 2 bars and a hotel with restaurant. There are lovely walks straight from the door, and the dogs loved playing in the garden. Given the time of year we didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. A really nice house to stay in - I would recommend it highly.
