Lovely mansion in Mancor de la Vall, in the Tramuntana mountain range, with private pool and plenty of space for 10 people.
In the middle of the idyllic village of Mancor de la Vall you can find this great house with a natural stoned facade, spacious terraces and a private chlorine pool. Two or three families can spend a peaceful vacation and come to know the most authentic side of Mallorca. The 8 x 3.5 metres pool with a depth between 0.8 to 1.6 metres is the real protagonist in this property. Around the pool, the lovers of basking in the sun find 10 sun loungers and 2 parasols, in case you prefer some shadow. The furnished porch offers the perfect place for a long breakfast before starting with the activities of the day. At noon, maybe you feel like to enjoy some restaurant in town, but in the evening the best choice is to cook some barbecued meat and vegetables. In front of the house, another terrace invites to have dinner under the starry sky. The house is within the village and there are neighbours around.
The two-storey house was built in 1970 and the owners renewed it with love in 2008, preserving the traditional and authentic style of the house. Modern furniture and soft colours blend with the charming cement tiled floor in perfect harmony. On the ground floor we find two living rooms, one with a TV set. The kitchen has direct access to the terrace and it features a ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave and kitchen utensils. It is open to the dining area, with room for 10 people. The floor is completed with a shower bathroom and a bedroom with a double bed, closet and an en-suite shower bathroom.
In the first floor we find the rest of the bedrooms, all of them with a double bed, air-conditioning, en-suite shower bathroom and closet. One of these bedrooms has exit to a little private terrace with pool views. There also is a laundry room with a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. In addition, if you are travelling with your baby, a cot and a high chair also are available.
The romantic village of Mancor de la Vall also is called the entrance door of the Tramuntana mountain range because it is located just at the foot of the mountains. Every year, lots of hikers and cyclists choose the town to sleep and enjoy the never-ending routes throughout the mountains. The Castle of Alaró, the reservoir of Cúber, Biniaraix, Lluc, Sóller and Valldemossa are just some ideas for excursions in the area. You can reach the beach in about 30 minutes car drive, and visit the bays of Alcudia and Pollensa. Puerto de Alcúdia, Playa de Formentor and Playa de Muro are fine sandy beaches with crystalline waters. Beach bars by the sea shore invite to admire the sunset, taste a delicious paella and enjoy the Mediterranean sea.
The wood stove cannot be used.

La casa es super cómoda, muy amplia y muy bien equipada. Los 4 dormitorios de la planta alta son muy grandes, super cómodos, con baños lindos y aire acondicionado en cada cuarto.El dormitorio de la planta baja, tambien es muy lindo, pero no tiene AA. La casa esta arreglada a nuevo completa, la cocina es amplia con todo lo necesario y tiene dos salones mas para lectura y tele que prácticamente no usamos.Tambien tiene un quincho, con una parrilla muy simple, con vista directa a la pileta. Los mas chicos de la familia disfrutaron mucho de la piscina y la mesa de ping pong. La casa esta ubicada ubicada en un pueblo chico muy pintoresco y tranquilo. Principalmente utilizamos el ingreso para vehículos que da sobre la parte posterior de la casa. Esa cuadra no es la mas linda del pueblo y creo que si ese acceso estuviese mas cuidado, la casa seria un 10 absoluto. La pasamos super bien en Casa Canals y considero que es una muy buena opción para hacer base en Mallorca disfrutando de una vida de pueblo, menos turística y con la comodidad de la conectividad con las principales arterias para llegar a todos los destinos de Mallorca.
The house is super comfortable, very spacious and very well equipped. The 4 bedrooms on the upper floor are very large, super comfortable, with nice bathrooms and air conditioning in each room. The bedroom on the ground floor is also very nice, but it does not have AA. The house is completely renovated, the kitchen is spacious with everything you need and has two more rooms for reading and TV that we practically do not use. It also has a barbecue area, with a very simple grill, with a direct view of the pool. The youngest members of the family really enjoyed the pool and the ping pong table. The house is located in a very picturesque and quiet small town. We mainly use the driveway that opens onto the back of the house. That block is not the prettiest in town and I think that if that access was more careful, the house would be an absolute 10. We had a great time at Casa Canals and I consider it to be a very good option to base yourself in Mallorca, enjoying a village life, less touristy and with the comfort of connectivity with the main arteries to reach all the destinations in Mallorca.

This place is lovely and clean, spacious and VERY well equipped. The welcome pack of a few treats was such a nice touch. Homerti were very communicative and checkin instructions and directions spot on. Extra things that weren’t expected included beach towels, hair dryers (note this isn’t marked on the included provisions but there are hair dryers!). The village is lovely, everyone so friendly and we highly recommend the bakery and the restaurant “Forn De La Vall” (amazing pizzas). From a fellow Airbnb super host with high standards, thank you.

See more Casa molto accogliente, pulita e spaziosa. La zona giardino con la piscina, la veranda e il bbq è ottima per trascorrere del tempo con gli amici. La posizione è un po’ scomoda perche lontana da tutte le spiagge e da Palma de Mallorca.
Very welcoming, clean and spacious house. The garden area with the swimming pool, the veranda and the BBQ is excellent for spending time with friends. The location is a bit inconvenient because it is far from all the beaches and Palma de Mallorca.

Magnifique villa dans les terres à Mallorca ! Endroit parfait pour passer de superbes vacances en famille, tout est fait pour bien profiter ! La localisation est idéale si vous avez un véhicule à disposition (Palma ou de belles plages à moins de 30 minutes). L’annonce correspond parfaitement à la maison et les gérants et le propriétaire sont extrêmement gentils et répondent rapidement. Vous ne pouvez qu’apprécier votre séjour où vous n’avez qu’à poser vos valises et disfrutar !
Magnificent inland villa in Mallorca! Perfect place to spend a superb family vacation, everything is done to enjoy it! The location is ideal if you have a vehicle available (Palma or beautiful beaches less than 30 minutes away). The ad fits the house perfectly and the managers and owner are extremely kind and respond quickly. You can only enjoy your stay where all you have to do is pack your bags and enjoy!

The kitchen works well and contains the needed utensilsWe enjoyed the old style of the house with the beautiful old tiles. The outdoor areas are also nice with trees and plenty of space to spend time playing in the pool or sit in the garden furniture. It’s a townhouse in a charming small village with nearby grocery store etc. The 4 bedrooms on the second floor all have air conditioning which also can be used for heating. The lack of heating on the first floor of the house makes it more suitable for staying there when the weather is warm. We had a small problem concerning cleaning on the day of arrival, which was partially dealt with but it was a minor detail. Communication works smoothly with caretakers. All in all it’s a great and charming house for a summer holiday. We would be happy to return for another vacation.
