This is a beautiful villa with a stunning garden. The aroma of the lavendar on the driveway and the orange and lemon blossoms when we arrived was just stunning. We were able to have fresh oranges (windfalls) from which I made freshly squeezed juice every morning. The villa was well provisioned. No Wifi - which bothered the kids more than us but I did see and Ethernet cable in one of the drawers so there may be wired Internet...but we never pursued that. Unfortunately, when we were there at Easter time (late April), the weather was not great and so the pool was too cold to swim in which was disappointing for the kids, but they did swim on the days that the weather was a bit better. It was a lovely size pool with nice loungers etc. Location wise, it is only 5 minutes to the train station...which was handy for the train into Palma and avoided me having to drive in. The train is regular enough and reasonably priced. We stayed in Binissalem as I have relatives who live in nearby Alaró and Biniagual so it was ideal for that. The local town is very pretty with an impressive square, restaurants ...and really cute newsagent/toy shop that the kids loved. Would recommend this villa and will be looking to return when the weather is better.

This fantastic villa for 5 people offers a private pool, ample terraces and is located in Binissalem, close to the Sierra de Tramuntana.
The exteriors feature a huge, 13m x 5m private chlorine pool with a depth ranging from 0.8m to 2.5m, eight sun loungers, an ample terrace with BBQ and an exterior shower. The furnished porch is great for al-fresco dining or having a glass of wine in the afternoon. Depending on the season, you can harvest fresh lemons and oranges. This nice cottage is fenced and there are several neighbours.
The porch leads you to the fully-equipped kitchen with vitro hob, which is open to the cosy sitting-dining room with A/C and satellite-TV. There, you can watch a DVD with your kids, play de piano, or share laughs and talks with your loved ones. A washer, iron, clothes dryer and ironing board are in the bathroom.
There are 3 bedrooms with a closet each. Two of them come with a spacious single bed and the third bedrooms is fitted with two single beds. 2 of the bedrooms come with A/C (the twin bedroom and one of the single rooms). A cot and a high chair are available on request. The house has two bathrooms, one with shower and one with a bathtub. Besides, there's a safety deposit box.
Located in the outskirts of Binissalem, famous for its wine production, this villa is in a quiet zone. In the town centre you'll find everything you may need during your stay. In the surroundings there are several wine cellars where you can make tasting sessions, for example the bodega José Ferrer.
As Binissalem is near the Tramuntana Mountains, it's a nice place for excursions: to the tiny village of Orient, the castle of Alaró or the waterfalls Salt d'es Freu. A 30 minutes' drive takes you to the north coast with lovely sand beaches and crystal clear water. Just to mention a few: Puerto de Alcúdia, Puerto de Pollensa and Playa de Formentor are family-friendly. Formentor is famous for its lighthouse and the beautiful nature, steep coasts and unobstructed sea views.

We had a wonderful week in Binissalem. The villa is fantastic - incredibly clean and well maintained. Much fun was had in the pool and plenty of areas to relax in. Less than 10 minutes walk to the small town centre which has lots of character and a good choice of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. I would definitely recommend the villa to others.

See more It was a wonderful week thanks to this awsome house, a magic place where we've chill with comfort, quiet and not to far from everything (if you have a car of course), there is no way to not like it, hamac is probably the best thing in the house, oh and there is a turtle in the fountain, his name is Donatello now, you can't change it sorry.
See more - Difficult to find villa. Booking confirmation etc all used wrong house number. Taxi fare from airport cost €80 instead of €40 because we couldn't find it. + Lovely small town with very few tourists, just local people going about their business. Amazing gardens, pool and facilities. Very spacious and spotlessly clean.
