We were 13 guests and we fitted very comfortably in the place. The photographs are accurate and we found the place to be modern and clean inside. The swimming pool is lovely although slightly smaller than the images on the listing suggest. We had a lovely time sunbathing, cooking and eating outdoors and the kitchen was well stocked with all the cutlery, crockery and glassware we needed. The WIFI was not very powerful and we found we had to sit in the kitchen next to the router to get signal so it was not possible to use wifi outdoors/ in bedrooms or by the pool area. To get air conditioning in the property you will need to specially request the air conditioning remote from the service company. This was a little strange and it would have been nice to have just had air conditioning in the property. As it was, we spent three days trying to figure out if a breaker switch had tripped. The property is run by 3rd parties so there is the agency that responds on airbnb and then you recieve a second message from another 3rd party to liase with on the island. This is not ideal but all parties were very responsive and always answered emails and calls. It is worth noting that there is a tourist tax of EUR 2.2 per person/per night that is payable in cash on arrival. Sant Joan is a little village but when we didnt feel like cooking we found a little restaurant was usually open called M-46. We drove to different beaches around the island which took 30-50 mins depending and Palma was around 35 mins away. Mallorca is a beautiful island and we would absolutely return.

Welcome to this amazing country house, located near the village of Sant Joan. It is ideal for big families or groups of friends since it can accommodate from 11 people.
You will find a true paradise in the outside, a combination of freshness, great views, privacy and little luxuries like having breakfast or lunch with your loved ones under the porch, while you watch TV; taking a cocktail while sunbathing on one of the 12 sunbeds; or reading a book under the huge sunshades. The salted pool sizes 8 x 4 metres and its depth goes from 1 to 2.5 metres, surrounded by beautiful tiles, perfect for the little ones to play and run. By the pool you will find three showers and a great exterior kitchen fully equipped with an induction top, dishwasher, fridge, wood oven, barbecue and even two griddles, one for meats and the other for fish!
The interior of the house, decorated in a rustic quite stylish way, is very cosy, and it has two floors. When you enter the ground floor you find an air-conditioned shared area with a fireplace, very similar to an idyllic rural restaurant, with a modern kitchen with an induction top and industrial household appliances, and a dining area with several tables. There is a furnished room from which we access the main living room which offers satellite TV, DVD and CD players and wood stove / oven. There are 6 bedrooms in total, five of them with air-conditioning, and 5 shower bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, the three of the with two twin beds, and 3 bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is for the communal use of the ground floor, another is an en-suite bathroom and other has two showers and access from the outside. Upstairs there are three more bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two with two twin beds. One also has an en-suite bathroom. Another bathroom completes this floor. There are two cots and two high chairs for babies. The laundry is equipped with an iron, an ironing board, washing machine and tumble dryer and it is located by the covered parking area.
The villa is located in Sant Joan, a village where you can come to know the easy and quiet life of locals. The tradition in these villages is to get up in the morning, go to the bakery to buy the breakfast or go to the local bars to have breakfast. The environment is a rural area, a mixture of olive and Mediterranean trees with crops of the Pla de Mallorca area, perfect for excursions, for instance, to Puig de Sant Nofre, the Santuario de la Consolació or the Santuario de Cura with impressive views. If you feel like going shopping, Manacor is only 20 minutes drive from the house,as well as the beaches of on Serra de Marina or Portocristo.
There is exterior covered parking for 6 cars.
