Superb chalet in the quiet and coastal urbanisation of Son Bauló (Can Picafort) with private pool and capacity for 6 guests.
This wonderful two storey building will amaze you with its fantastic exterior corners and by its appearance, as it seems a simple and beautiful castle hiding a dreamy designer interior. The chlorine pool, surrounded by a cosy artificial green lawn, invites to take a cool and nice dip after enjoying some relaxing moments under the sun on one of the 10 sun loungers. It sizes 6 x 3 metres and the water depth goes from 1.2 to 1.7 metres. It also features an exterior shower. A perfectly furnished porch by the pool is awaiting for you to spend the morning or the evening by a good reading and a glass of wine. Some steps up from here lead to the terrace where you can taste a succulent barbecue al fresco or under the sliding awning.
Entering the accommodation from the street you will find a spectacular room combining the living area -with AC and TV-Sat- with the dining kitchen. The kitchen offers a large island with a ceramic hob and 6 stools to have a chat with your loved ones while cooking. This same floor offers a shower bathroom and three bedrooms, all of them with two twin beds, AC, a wardrobe and space for two cots and two high chairs. One of them also has an en-suite bathroom with separated shower and hydro massage tub. You will find wall electric radiators all throughout this floor for the cold season. The inferior level, where the pool is, and accessed from the outside features a first sitting room with a TV set, another second sitting room to rest, the laundry area (with a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and an ironing board), a work/study room, and a shower bathroom.
The quiet and coastal urbanisation of Son Bauló, belonging to Can Picafort, is a lively area during the summer but always maintaining that essence of peace. The beach is only 500 metres away, surrounded by shops, restaurants and beach bars where you can admire the beautiful sunset and enjoy a walk. Can Picafort, about 1 km away, features a much more bustling atmosphere, with an extensive beach of crystalline waters along several kilometres till reaching Puerto de Alcudia, as well as many more services.

3 guests reviewed this property. We were a party of three generations, the layout worked very well for us as we could be separated from the younger families, and still be altogether. We used the lower area which is not as bright as upstairs. The villa was very well equipped had everything you would need. Outside area had plenty of seating for eating and relaxing outdoors. The pool was great again the owner had toys we could use. Local area was lovely with plenty of walks and restaurants. We would certainly recommend this villa.
See more Wir hatten schon einige Häuser auf Mallorca gemietet, in Son Baulo (Can Picafort) waren wir aber noch nicht. Den Rest der Insel kannten wir schon gut. Die Lage ist wirklich wunderbar, das Meer sieht man von der Terrasse, der wirklich schöne Son Baulo Strand und sehr gute Restaurants (El Molino, Ca's Padri, Sa Cova, Bananas) sind nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt. Beim Bip Bip Minimarkt ist man auch gleich, der hat das Nötigste und bietet auch ausgezeichnetes frisches Brot sowie Mehlspeisen an. Der Mercadona für den Großeinkauf ist 3 Autominuten entfernt. Parkplätze gabs immer genug, das Haus selbst hat zwar theoretisch eine Einfahrt, diese ist aber deaktiviert. Wir mussten aber nie mehr als 10m vom Haus entfernt parken, meist standen wir direkt vorm Eingang. Das Haus selbst ist sehr schön und geräumig. Die Küche ist wirklich fantastisch ausgestattet und riesig. Es gibt ein Induktionsfeld, einen Gefrierschrank, Gläser in allen Variationen, Tischgriller, Raclette, Fondue, Geschirrspültabs, Müllsäcke, Öl, Essig, Salz, Gewürze und sogar Spirituosen (Vodka, Rum, Gin etc.) waren bei Ankunft vorhanden. So eine Ausstattung hatten wir in einem Ferienobjekt noch nie. Lediglich die Töpfe und Pfannen waren zum Teil nicht induktionsgeeignet, die Agentur ist aber informiert darüber, da wird es wohl bald Verbesserung geben. Bei Ankunft gabs als Begrüßung eine Mandeltorte und eine Flasche Weißwein, beides ausgezeichnet! Alles war sehr sauber, modern und funktionell. Alle Zimmer im OG haben Klimaanlagen. Das UG mit weiteren 2 Zimmern und einem Bad hat leider (noch) keine Klimaanlage, weshalb wir die Zimmer dort nicht benutzt haben. Das ist im Mai/Oktober wohl kein Problem, im Hochsommer hätten wir es aber nicht ausgehalten. Aber nicht jeder braucht eine Klima und es ist auch in der Beschreibung so angegeben. Jeder Gast hat Handtuch/Badetuch/Strandtuch, Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden, Waschmittel ebenso. Alle Zimmer im OG haben Außenläden und Innenrollos, daher konnte man wunderbar verdunkeln. Die Gegend selbst ist recht belebt, ringsum sind direkt Hotels, die auch an einigen Tagen bis 23:00 Livemusik haben. Das stört überhaupt nicht, sollte man aber wissen, ist also nichts für jemanden, der die komplette Stille bevorzugt. In der Nacht selbst ist es herrlich ruhig. Pool sehr sauber und angenehm tief. Wir überlegen bereits den nächsten Aufenthalt. Kommunikation mit der Agentur Villafinca und Homerti problemlos.
